It was amazing to imagine the "silent" chromosomes jumping into action when something goes wrong, like an army of little soldiers. The strength that Sharon Moalem shows through her personal experiences and through her research is as supportive as it is fascinating, and you feel as if you are almost witnessing a change in yourself as you read, almost unwittingly, sucked in by the power of this book.
