Relax! I stayed in a tent and it was cleaned and had the sheets/towels changed every two days. This place is wonderful ! The hostel offers free snorkeling masks, fishing rods, and makes different night "event" (fire lamps, music, etc) to entertain the guests. Bunnan Bungalows and Restaurant offers accommodations in Koh Rong Island. 1. 2. Also you can book an awesome tour there for a good price, which is guided by some nice local dudes. The food is not bad.
and the vibe from the beach was simply beautiful. “The beach was wonderful. The restaurant food was not expensive and rather good Not noisy unless you are at the far south side of beach next to bar. Free large bottle of drinking water daily (refill at dining area). The beach is wayyy the Best of all cause is calmed and you can have a very good time there, I would come back! I was sick and they helped me a lot. There is a fire down there at night, and occasional demonstrations of fire dancing in the evening. White sand, palm trees, crystal clear water, and hospitality cured to the smallest detail. Staff really helpful and food was good. There are lot of places to chill, read a book (they have library) and enjoy amazing views. The location is spot on and you can get lost into a book with the sound of the sea, and seeing the fluorescent plankton was very special. The location awesome. And that was to the beach level, then there was a climb to the restaurant level, and more to the bungalows. I made a mistake , the above is what I DID like ! $10 boat tour was great value, but conditions to dock in evening were impossible so we were dropped at the village around the point and had to hike back through the jungle in the dark (not the fault of the hotel, but just a warning about the winds). Private beach. The dogs follow you where you go if you want them to. I really reccomend it. So , I've loved this place since I got here , my lovely tent with a big mattress and linen , the sea and the beach and most of all the great family here ánd of course , their lovely grandson of 7 months , Robyn ! I loved this place. So I've been here during the good and hard times , the holidays when it was very full and happy here and during which the family really tried there utmost to make it a happy time for everybody . There not many people here now , naturally , about 10 and supplies are not like they were before but the family still does whatever they can to make things as good as they can but this being an island it's hard to get everything they want . They have a book exchange small library and hammocks to read and enjoy the sea breeze Our tent had a queen mattress and towels inside 3. Robby told us so much about the island, all little tips & tricks, and his sister always served us well in the restaurant upstairs and booked us on an amazing boat tour for only about $10 per person. Missing some information related to health and safety? The sea view was great from our balcony (Bungalow 3, we think), but some of the bungalows didn’t have sea view even though it is in the room name (due tree growth since initial pics) Basic room with many gaps in walls and floor so lucky there were mosquito nets and geckos.
It took them six trips. It took almost two hours from landing at the pier for the full group to get into our six bungalows.
